Crude Oil Market Update The EIA reported another large draw of crude oil for a total of 9.3m barrels for the week ending on the 26th of June, of which 5.5m barrels are SPR, confirming the US continues to hemorrhage crude oil inventory while crude oil prices continue to go down. The mainstream narrative, heavily influenced by messaging coming unilaterally from the US government, continues claiming that crude oil is now flowing out of the Strait of Hormuz. So far, we don't see any meaningful drop in US exports whatsoever, though, which remains elevated at almost double the pre-war level. The most important piece of information in this report was the confirmation that Cushing inventories are now at tank bottoms. As you can observe in the last table, crude oil inventory draws were reported in all PADDs, including the Midwest, while Cushing was the ONLY build. Clearly, crude oil was shifted into Cushing to keep it operational. Now the big question is how long can this continue before all ... see more

New Custom DayTrading Indicator First goal was to build out a day trading indicator that uses the 30 minute range. Next goal will be to automate via AI agents and be able to connect to Robinhood for completely hands off trading. Next Step: OBV related Swing trade Indicator The next thing I'll be playing with is adding on top of the OBV indicator and combining SuperTrend and a 20 day MA to give higher confidence swing trade signals on the 4h and 1 day charts. Higher time frames won't be as important for automating the system but I'd like to also connect it to a bunch of alerts and be able to wait for BUY signals to fire off on the watchlist to get more eyes on charts. Day Trading 30 Indicator It's meant to be used on the 5 minute chart. The more consecutive dots, the more confidence in the signal. Dollar signs being printed are when 1x, 1.5x, or 2x the implied volatility range gets hit. It's a signal that can be taken as soon as printed. The OILU still has to reclaim 35 before this is worth anything. That level keeps sliding lower each day as it sells off, so chasing a fixed price is pointless right now. We'd normally look for the oversold entry on the hourly. But the hourly keeps lagging lower every morning. That's exactly what we're trying to avoid. With a geopolitical event this size driving it, we're leaning on the daily. We want a real, blown-off oversold reading there before we act. This is where anchored VWAP does the work. Drop the anchor on the last big oversold low on the hourly chart. That line becomes your trigger. While price is below it, you stay out. When price pushes back above it, check the MACD. You want the MACD line crossing up through its signal line, with the histogram bars growing to the upside. That's how you know momentum is building and it's not just a dead-cat bounce. Price back above the anchored line, plus that MACD cross, is the green light. We're not there yet. So we sit and watch. The ... see more
