Pick Your Lane: Technicals or Fundamentals

Every red portfolio is a test. Not of the stock — of the reason you bought it. If you had a clear reason, red is either a bounce setup or a discount. If you had no reason, red is panic. The market has two sides. You have to choose one and actually understand it.

Lane one: the technician.

The technician does not ask whether a company is good. He asks where the price is stretched. Oversold is his buy signal — not because the stock deserves it, but because sellers are exhausted and a bounce is probable. He buys the washout, sells into the first relief rally, and keeps size small because bounces fail. His tools are support zones, RSI, moving averages. His timeframe is days to weeks. His edge is discipline: he takes the small win and leaves before the bounce dies. If you trade oversold without a stop and without an exit plan, you are not a technician — you are a gambler with an indicator.
