New Custom DayTrading Indicator First goal was to build out a day trading indicator that uses the 30 minute range. Next goal will be to automate via AI agents and be able to connect to Robinhood for completely hands off trading. Next Step: OBV related Swing trade Indicator The next thing I'll be playing with is adding on top of the OBV indicator and combining SuperTrend and a 20 day MA to give higher confidence swing trade signals on the 4h and 1 day charts. Higher time frames won't be as important for automating the system but I'd like to also connect it to a bunch of alerts and be able to wait for BUY signals to fire off on the watchlist to get more eyes on charts. Day Trading 30 Indicator It's meant to be used on the 5 minute chart. The more consecutive dots, the more confidence in the signal. Dollar signs being printed are when 1x, 1.5x, or 2x the implied volatility range gets hit. It's a signal that can be taken as soon as printed. Invalidation can come when the dots stop showing up. It can work well on other stocks when backtesting using $TSLA $SPCX and other popular ones. Threw it on random ones like $LFYT and it looked good back testing. The ideal strategy is to let the big winners run to cover up days which are choppy. It's meant more for day trading but it does work well for swing trading and momentum changes.
