Indicator results showing SPY as the clear winner of focus The SPY ORB 30 indicator is now firing at almost an 80% win rate after having another nice perfect 3 days with clean entries and exits. The data is showing that the Stock Day Trader might need to be tweaked a bit more or that individual stocks themselves are much harder to trade. Even at a 60% win rate that's still winnable long term if unit size and risk is at 1:1 or even higher. 80% would be pretty wild to sustain and most would probably not believe the data so I'm sure over time it gets closer to 70% but that's still the best I've ever seen or been able to track an indicator or system with pretty clear entries and exits. The theta decay issue seems to have been improved by either using the 15 minute indicator setting or by zooming in on the 1 minute chart and trading a lower time frame.

Copper is ripping. Traders are front-running Trump's pending decision on tariffs for refined copper imports. Everybody wants their metal inside the country before a tariff hits. So copper is pouring into the US at the fastest pace in at least 12 years. More than 200,000 tons landed at US ports in July. That's the biggest monthly haul on record going back to 2014. Prices are up near $14,000 a ton, a two-month high. The way we'd play this isn't a miner. It's Mueller Industries (MLI). Mueller makes copper tube, fittings, and line sets for HVAC, refrigeration, and construction. That puts it levered directly to copper demand. What separates it from a miner is the balance sheet. Mueller is debt-free and cash-rich. Its sales grew about 19% last quarter. And it just agreed to buy another copper-tube maker. So you get the copper exposure without the baggage the mining names carry. It also tracks the metal about as tightly as anything out there. One friend send me this -- As he knows I write about Luck.... I write , Luck is a must to create wealth... Do waqt ki roti khani hai.....we don't need Luck, that even the majoor will get at the end of the day. I also say, there is no relationship between Hard work and Luck. We use to say, jo mahenat karta hai, usko naseb maddad karta hai....Those who work hard, luck helps them too.... If that is the equation, then all Laborer need to have atleast a concrete house, atleast 2 bedroom to live in and have meals too for whole family. But that is not what we see. Instead we see , a woman and her husband both are working and their child is in a Zoli of mother , and there is a tent beside where they work, dirty clothes, even after finishing working, khadda khodte hai.... And meal? Bajre ki roti aur Onion and salt....Common guys.....be grateful that you have spare money to invest in stock market... Their only crime was, they took birth at poor parents....and that was also not their decision. ... see more

Rotation, Rotation, ..., How much Longer SPX Cap-Weighted vs Equal-Weight – Cycle Analysis The cycles of the SPY / RSP ratio have done a great job forecasting the relative performance of SPY versus RSP , which led me to suggest 2+ months ago a rotation from momentum big-cap stocks into the broader market. Over the past couple of months, SPY has underperformed due to weakness in semis/AI, while the broader market remained relatively strong. According to cycle analysis, RSP (and the broader market) is now expected to underperform until around Oct '26.

Micron Technology (MU) Analysis · Micron Technology is one of the dominant computer memory chip companies in the world. · Chip memory stocks had parabolic runs due to strong demand caused by the AI infrastructure build. · Usually, parabolic runs are followed by sharp reversals, rather than sideways corrections. · This is what we are seeing in MU price pattern. · It likely topped with negative RSI divergence, then dropped in seemingly five waves, plus an ugly candle on Friday. · This is an ominous Elliott Wave pattern suggesting at least a 3-wave correction (green labels/path), or possibly five waves down in a more bearish pattern (red labels/path). · Even under a green, long-term bullish pattern, it could reach the 400 area to close the open gaps, before running to new highs. · There is an open gap above, which MU might attempt to close in red 2 or green B. · Under the red Elliott wave count, 5 waves down for (1) may hit the 100 range; this is on a linear scale.
