bitsofwealthApr 07, 2026Public PostOur $ALGO short is still live and thriving. TP1 was hit on the initial move down and its now on the way towards TP2. At this point I am starting to tighten up the stop loss and bringing it very close to entry.
Republic ResearchApr 07, 2026Public PostWhile the market's in a holding pattern with the Iran situation and tonight's 8 PM deadline on the Strait of Hormuz, there are still things moving out there. We've been building a backend tool called the LaunchPad. Wanted to walk you through what it does and why it matters, because we're going to start sharing this more regularly. The LaunchPad screens for quality and value names based on the relationship between the 8-day and 20-day moving averages. The 8-day tells you what's happening right now. The 20-day is the bigger trend, about a month of trading. When the 8-day starts curling up into the 20-day with rising volume, that's our setup. It's telling you that recent buying pressure is starting to overpower the broader trend, and the algorithms are recognizing the pattern and piling in. Once the 8 crosses up through the 20, that's the launch. The name tends to move fast. If the 8-day curls back down before it crosses, that's a failed launch. Drop it and move on. What we like to see ... see more
PaulApr 07, 2026Public PostGermany continues to slide into the abyss: Germany's public deficit rose to €127bn in 2025, up from €104bn a year earlier. That is the highest level since the 2022. The biggest increases came in the federal and local government. Germany's service sector growth slowed sharply in March due to weakened demand, influenced by the war in the Middle East. The S&P Global services PMI fell to its lowest point since September, indicating a slowdown in business activity and a drop in new business inflows.
PaulApr 07, 2026Public PostIran struck Jubail which is Saudi's main industrial hub. This was after the US and Israel struck its own petrochemical hub: Jubail operates with 300 companies and produces 7.5% of all petrochemicals in the world. It contains power stations, desalination plants as well as fertilisers, chemical production, steel and aluminium. This is also connected to the King Fahd Industrial Port with an annual capacity of 70 million tons. The extent of the damage will determine the global impact associated with what is produced at this industrial hub.
TonySeverinoCMTApr 07, 2026Public PostBitcoin BTCUSD Daily Close: Keep Your Shorts This is precisely why we let the signals do the deciding for us. Earlier today, I was tempted to flip long, but the right call was to wait for the daily close and get confirmation around the Ichimoku Cloud. Bitcoin was rejected yet AGAIN There's always a chance it pushes right back up there, but this is a LOT of rejection at this point I am going to look at more signals to double and triple confirm. But for now, I wanted to show off how well this is working I got to be honest, Trump's comments about how the US could wipe out the entire country and might do it tomorrow night, is terrifying His ego might be damaged from how poorly this war is going, and he might do something dramatic to try and make his enemies fear him I don't want to doom and gloom, but if war escalates tomorrow, Bitcoin and the stock market will have a catastrophic drop. Being on the short side is much preferred with risk this high Stay patient. I set an order for a shor ... see more

TonySeverinoCMTApr 04, 2026Public PostUpdate on Slice Content and Schedule: Easter Sunday Hey everyone – I am taking the day today to be with family. I have a family dinner tomorrow also, but when I am back from that I plan on working several hours and getting us all caught up more on here. I did some charts for the videos on Friday I want to walk everyone through on here. I want to do a Q&A in case people have questions on my thesis or it wasn't clear in some areas. Remember, this is a longer term, high timeframe prediction – backed by evidence, but is still so far into the future. We need to be aware of possible future outcomes, but then remain present in face what is in front of us. Short term: Bitcoin seems resilient and it could lead to a bounce. Breakdown, however, is catastrophic. The risk reward feels to suggest it isn't worth trying to get into this next move. I'd still much rather be short-biased Stocks I still think are bearish and retesting. If this week closes strong, stocks probably did bounce. Medium-term ... see more
PaulApr 04, 2026Public PostRussia displaying weakness, once again: A senior Russian official has confirmed a missile strike just breached the Bushehr nuclear plant's protection circuit. He warned that the risks of a catastrophic nuclear incident risk is skyrocketing with nearly 200 personnel having been evacuated. This is a Russian constructed nuclear power plant and Moscow previously told Israel and the US to avoid striking this facility. They clearly don't take them seriously. It is long overdue that Russia makes its position very clear as to how it will respond. After all this has the potential to cause a major radiation leak in the region.

PaulApr 02, 2026Public PostThis could be the 2026 version of the subprime crisis in 2008: I have been tracking private credit for several years and it is becoming a very serious problem. The US Treasury is meeting with domestic and international insurance regulators over the risks in private credit. Bear in mind this is a multi trillion dollar market. The insurance sector is heavily invested in private capital sector. This market is lacking transparency, is highly illiquid and highly complex in terms of the private credit products on offer. This includes securitised products similar to what we saw in 2008 with subprime. Many US insurers also have offshore reinsurance affiliates located in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. Enough said.
IncomeSharksApr 01, 2026Public Post$EBAY - Adding a second entry. Still think it's got too strong of a narrative with good financials and will beat earnings in February. The precious metals, trading cards, and new products they've been pushing out make it a clear winner in the space. Goldin auctions joining forces and going global was a strong strategic move. The PSA vault continues to gain adoption. Even the more conservative analysts from banks have it priced in the $110 to $115 range. Taking a little bit of a risk getting exposure this late but this one feels like one that when it hits an ATH people will be wondering why they didn't take the "maps and shovel" play in a collectors trading market.Sold 100%1 AprJust de-risking on the bounce. TonySeverinoCMTApr 01, 2026Public PostQuick Update: Bitcoin – Still Not Fully Convinced, But Ready To Pivot This was always going to be a PIVOTAL move, so one side was always going to end up winning and it would be dramatic No side won yet, so we haven't got the drama When one side gives in, you will know The market wanted to close the monthly and quarterly the way it did yesterday. I am going through all of those signals now and will report back soon on that. For now, I wanted to show that this still has potential to turn back down Price is hitting the 50 day SMA - getting above it for a third time should send this up higher. Rejection obviously leads to now lows LMACD could puke back down (kinda looks like it will) or cross bullish and move about the zero line RSI is close to making it above 50, but is also hitting a lost uptrend support line turned resistance Still hard to flip bullish, but getting closer to having no choice but to do so Overall, if this reverses higher I see two things: It will be short-lived and wo ... see more

russellclarkMar 31, 2026Public PostOne of the difficulties I am dealing with is whether War in Iran is actually a "big deal".
