Iran struck Jubail which is Saudi's main industrial hub. This was after the US and Israel struck its own petrochemical hub: Jubail operates with 300 companies and produces 7.5% of all petrochemicals in the world. It contains power stations, desalination plants as well as fertilisers, chemical production, steel and aluminium. This is also connected to the King Fahd Industrial Port with an annual capacity of 70 million tons. The extent of the damage will determine the global impact associated with what is produced at this industrial hub.
