SOX EW Analysis
·        SOX wave structure looks like a double zigzag and a potential triple zigzag, which is a corrective pattern.
·        SOX has multiple partially or fully open gaps.
·        The open upside gaps and seemingly corrective downside structure raise the question of whether SOX has topped.
·        In any case. I am looking down into the second week of September; then we will see if the rebound exhibits an impulsive or corrective wave structure.

Dear All, considering the broader market has been "slow" overall, being mid-August and that I will still be in the middle of China for another week with VPN limitations, I believe it will be best for me to work and deliver the Second tutorial on Options rather than scheduling a Live Stream.

Trump put tariffs on imported drones. Signed yesterday, effective September 3. Anything over 25 kilograms or carrying thermal imaging gets hit at 100%. Smaller drones get 25%. Allies get 15%.
The reason given is national security. We buy too many drones and drone parts from overseas, mostly China, for something the military now depends on. The tariff is meant to force that production back home.
Whether it works long term is a different conversation. What matters this morning is that every foreign drone in this market just got more expensive, and the domestic makers didn't have to do anything to gain the advantage.
Kratos (KTOS) is the one we know best. The stock has been in a slump all year, working off a huge run from last year. Support has held around $50. It's up about 3% this morning, sitting right at its 200-day moving average. Clear that and turn it into support, and the year's damage starts to repair. Above there, $70 is the next base.
Red Cat (RCAT) has the same story on the chart.
White House has finally realised that Chinese goods get shipped to Mexico, Vietnam, Canada, Malaysia and dozens of other countries first, to avoid tariffs.
Around $75-80bn in goods is shipped this way every year.  Whilst imports from China dropped to a 16-year low recently, imports from the likes of Mexico and Vietnam rose hugely in the process. Around 40 countries are participating in this deception.
It is incredible the US only just realises this.
The 3-2-1 Crack spread is the best barometer to understand whether a move in crude oil prices is genuine or fake - based on that, the move in the past 48 hours is pretty fake

$SPX is testing the upper trendline, are we looking at a throwover and potential reversal?
There have been two clear downside tests at the lower boundaries of both smaller and larger wedges.
