RUT Cycle Targets

·         RUT has a 24td downside target of about 2950 +/-.

·         If it gets there next week, it will generate a 59td cycle downside target and possibly also one for the 79td cycle.

SPX Technical Analysis 101

1. The August peak was accompanied by notable divergences in the McClellan Summation Index ($NYSI) and RSI.

2. SPX reversed from outside the Keltner Channel and bounced off the middle Keltner line and June's high technical support.

3. The bounce was likely completed on Friday, with RSI curling down from the 60 range, which is typical for bounces.

4. SPX should retest the support mentioned in point 2 above.

5. If it breaks support, the next targets are the lower Keltner line and the 50-day moving average.

6. $NYSI, the swing trend indicator, is pointing downward.

Another Perspective On This Bitcoin Bearish Retest (If It Is One)

Because I keep sensing we are looking at some sort of macro correction coming that brings down Bitcoin and the best example of that is COVID, I went back to some of my old COVD charts to see how I approached things back then.

Here I have included some comparisons of the bearish retest. I have also shown of a weekly RSI downtrend line

interesting lace for this downtrend line to be. It very well could be broken

I have to admit, the current price action cluster is looking rather bullish and impulsive. Again, hard to tell at this very moment.

the second chart is just using that same bear test of trend line to justify part of my COVID analysis

the last chart is the same as the first one, just a daily look to show you that its kind of mixed. an impulse def happened. but it isn't clear if we are going to get a few in a row, or outright fail

the daily RSI chart looks like we will sort of have more of a rolling top, meaning we will go

HACK with an extremely bullish setup. CRWD earnings last night were phenomenal and they are showing that AI is creating a feedback loop between exposing more cyber security problems which is giving them more revenue ironically with more problems to solve. Everyone though it would be the opposite.

Technically there is a big hidden bulllish divergence with price making higher lows while RSI makes lower lows. It bounce on the impulse gate in blue which is also bullish, failing to even retrace towards the golden pocket as we would normally expect. With that in mind it looks like wave 3 has now started and considering this is a macro wave 5 it could be really powerful.

I will be looking at going long PANW tomorrow on a pullback. They have earnings on September 1st and if they are anything like CRWD they should be great. I ma looking for a retracement towards 366 at 0.618 retracement of this wave 1. I will be looking to close my short there also.

BUYING FNGD

Same analysis as SQQQ below - additional colour is the potential for the yen carry trade to unwind into the OPEX window. We already saw a major signal last week that this is now beginning in earnest. And the idea that authorities can prevent this is frankly laughable. So the fact they are openly recognising it is a massive tell imho.

People also mistook the monster move up last week as bullish when it was merely a function of negative options gamma regime. Those reflexive buyers are now exhausted and have left the underlying positioning bery unstable, a break below the PUT wall of QQQ at 700 and the volatility will be to the downisde for risk.
