There is a quieter arms race happening beneath the headlines around drones, missiles and missile defense. It is the fight for control of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Good morning!
Market is rising as oil and $VIX cool down ahead of today’s CPI release. We need a good inflation number for this rally to continue — otherwise, we could see a big pullback.
Let’s watch the numbers. If the market reacts positively, many setups could pay nicely.
$GOOG — $333.78 reclaim needed for a move toward $340–345. Rejection could bring another pullback.
$INTC — $106–107 resistance. Needs to break for the next move; until then, likely consolidation.
$AAPL — looking strong. Watching $330 today, with $337–340 as the next target.
$ORCL — $164–167 breakout could lead to a big day, especially with high short interest.
$TSLA — $358–362 acting as support; $368–372 resistance.
$AMZN — consolidating around $250 and now bouncing. Reclaim $255 and $260 could be next.
$NVDA — $217.55 support / $224.41 resistance.
$APP — reclaim $319–320 and it could run toward $330–331.
Will update if I take any trades. Expecting a busy morning, so let’s see how the market reacts to CPI.
Why the $5 Trillion Physical Economy Has a Chokepoint Problem The robotics revolution has reached an important inflection point.
Market risk is rising.
Key dip-buy levels and range supports are breaking as bond yields and oil surge, fueling inflation fears. Fed hike odds are climbing after hotter PPI. Tomorrow’s CPI at 8:30 AM ET could be the next major catalyst. If the market can’t bounce, correction risk increases. Protect capital and stay selective.
best practice in this situation is keep cash , or increased cash by either taking losses to non performing assets or trimming the big winners.
My cash position is now 8% from 3% , I might increase to $10-12 % because when $VIX goes to $20/25/30 I need cash to deploy because it is easy money in the market
3 Narrative Shifts Turning Optical Comms Into an AI Infrastructure Play — And What the 13Fs Confirm
The Energization Gap: Why 15GW of AI Compute Will Sit Dark in 2027
10 NAMES ON MY RADAR RIGHT NOW
$CRDO — down post-earnings despite a clean beat. $479M revenue, $1.20 EPS, with margin/cost concerns driving the selloff. Optical revenue tracking toward $600M+ in FY27.
$MRVL — Q2 revenue $2.74B that is +37% YoY , FY28 guide raised 10% to $18B. Stock dropped on Google partnership-delay fears. Custom AI silicon thesis remains intact. Buy-the-panic setup if execution holds.
$AAOI — Revenue +86% YoY with FY26 guidance reaffirmed at $1.1B. 800G/1.6T demand is outpacing capacity. The $600M dilutive raise crushed shares , but AI optics demand remains strong.
$AXTI — Record Q2 revenue of $47.6M, driven by InP substrate demand. A small-cap AI materials/picks-and-shovels play. Extremely volatile — size accordingly.
$AVGO — Custom AI silicon + networking remains a powerful combination. Yet the stock has lagged peers, up only 6% YTD. Potentially one of the more attractive mega-cap AI compounders if growth continues.
$APP — down despite Q2 revenue +53% YoY to $1.92B and E
AI’S NEXT BOTTLENECK MAY NOT BE CHIPS.
IT MAY BE POWER.
Think about what is happening:
The AI race is rapidly turning into an energy + infrastructure race.
$NVDA can build the world’s fastest GPUs.
But those GPUs still need:
That’s why I’m watching the entire AI infrastructure stack — not just the obvious AI names.
Semis → Memory → Photonics → NeoCloud → Power → Nuclear → Grid
AI doesn’t stop at the server rack.
It reaches all the way to the substation.
That’s the opportunity most investors are still underestimating.
