IncomeSharksApr 26, 2026Public PostHealthcare a lagging sector that should see rotation Energy started the year off as the hot sector, Tech/AI had a big correction, and now it's rebounding. Still cautious on the move because they were overvalued before the dip, and now are at higher valuations. The market is really trying to stick to a narrative to push higher and I'm not trying to short the strength as it can last irrationally longer than it should. My mindset is usually to find what's next, and sometimes it works very well, other times it's annoying missing some hot trends. I chose to be conservative and play it safe instead of gambling on the AI/Tech rebound so missed out on the move. So I either can sulk for months and try FOMO chasing what's already popped or remain patient and look for the next round of winners and win back some skeptics. IncomeSharksApr 20, 2026Public PostSunday Slice Report Wild week for stocks which saw a massive 2 week long rally continue with stock market all time highs for the S&P 500 NASDAQ went up 6.5% and the S&P 500 up 4.5% making it now up on the year Geopolitical tensions took a break and the Strait of Hormuz was opened Friday which saw $OIL go lower and the markets push up (now during the weekend it's closed again) Crypto saw some life again, but once again was the punching bag for news as a lot of the gains erased or pushed back Futures opening up red but hard to know what it will be like until the stock market actually opens Planned Events Pretty boring week for economic data and planned events. A jobless claims (April 23rd) and some data like pending home sales and US retail sales. Then a Consumer Sentiment comes out. So while the markets probably won't be boring or slow there's nothing really happening in "planned" stuff. Earnings Week We are now back into earnings season again so we are going to see some more volatil ... see more
