Sunday Slice Report Wild week for stocks which saw a massive 2 week long rally continue with stock market all time highs for the S&P 500 NASDAQ went up 6.5% and the S&P 500 up 4.5% making it now up on the year Geopolitical tensions took a break and the Strait of Hormuz was opened Friday which saw $OIL go lower and the markets push up (now during the weekend it's closed again) Crypto saw some life again, but once again was the punching bag for news as a lot of the gains erased or pushed back Futures opening up red but hard to know what it will be like until the stock market actually opens Planned Events Pretty boring week for economic data and planned events. A jobless claims (April 23rd) and some data like pending home sales and US retail sales. Then a Consumer Sentiment comes out. So while the markets probably won't be boring or slow there's nothing really happening in "planned" stuff. Earnings Week We are now back into earnings season again so we are going to see some more volatility as the markets try to use this as momentum to sustain the rally or an excuse to pull back. Tuesday April 21st - Before Markets Open GE Aerospace (GE) UnitedHealth Group (UNH) Others: RTX, MMM, DHR, DHI, ISRG, COF, IBKR Wednesday April 22nd Tesla (TSLA) - Probably one of the bigger ones to watch Boeing (BA) AT&T (T) Phillip Moriss (PM) United Airlines (UAL) Southwest (LUV) Others: IBM, NOW, LRCX, and TXN Thursday April 23rd Intel (INTC) American Express (AXP) - BEFORE MARKET OPEN Lockheed Martin (LMT) - BEFORE MARKET OPEN NextEra Energy (NEE) Others: CMCSA, HON, BX, FCX (Copper), AAL, NOK This week should give some insight on these industries AI & Data Center (VRT, NOW, LRCX) Aviation (GE, BA, UAL, LUV, RTX) Healthcare (UNH and ISRG) Crypto Some good momentum this week, Bitcoin still following squiggles, but seems to not be able to go a week without some sort of bad news or pullback on the weekend. Still just glued to geopolitical moves right now or it waits until stocks make a move to react.
