Bitcoin versus Global markets versus Gold

Things have become quite interesting after now seeing how much retail is dumping and selling Bitcoin while institutions, governments, and businesses keep buying. Retail and individuals have actually been the major holder which is why their influence is more impactful. Retail is aggressively more bullish.

Gold is a fear trade, global markets is a bet against America

It's amazing to see the deviation between Bitcoin going down and Gold going up bit it was right after the 10/10 event where people established this new relationship where if the dollar gets weaker so does Bitcoin. It's completely backwards because Bitcoin should have been going up with fears of a weakening dollar but when you have countries heavier in Gold looking for independence against the US dollar it's been clear they saw a better narrative to push. Not saying it's some conspiracy and I might be embellishing a bit but people are in risk off mode and they are "worried" about the US.

Volatility is creeping back. If you're day trading it, check this out.

VIX has been trending higher for a couple months now. We've been tracking this thing and we're getting back up towards the edges of the range. When we get to these levels people start thinking about positioning for volatility to pull back in. If you're looking out a couple days or a couple weeks, that's the trade you're watching for.

If you're an intraday trader though and you just want to trade volatility while it's here, there are two tickers you should pay attention to.

UVXY is a 1.5x leveraged long VIX ETF. It tracks short-term VIX futures and moves in the same direction as fear. When the market sells off and volatility spikes, this thing rips because of the leverage.

SVXY is the other side. It's a -0.5x inverse VIX ETF so it goes up when volatility goes down. Doesn't move as fast as UVXY because the leverage is lower but when vol starts to fade this is how you play that.

The way we like to trade these intraday is wi

1. US-Iran Nuclear Talks Underway in Geneva.

Iran announced readiness to reduce uranium enrichment and approved an IAEA visit to nuclear facilities, though Supreme Leader Khamenei issued hawkish rhetoric about "slapping" the US military. Markets are treating this as a binary risk event since a breakdown could lead to US strikes on Iran.

2. US Futures Red on Return from Holiday.

ES and RTY down 0.3%, NQ down 0.7% as US traders come back from Presidents' Day with no prior session to price in weekend developments.

3. UK Labor Market Deteriorating.

Unemployment unexpectedly rose to 5.2% (just below BoE's 5.3% peak forecast), wages cooled across both measures, and BoE March cut pricing edged higher heading into Wednesday's CPI print.

4. 10-Year Treasury Yield Approaching 4%.

USTs bid on risk-off flows and geopolitical uncertainty, with the 10yr at 4.025% and trading at levels not seen since late November 2025.

5. Gold Slips Below $5,000, Silver Crushed.

Getting the breakout in DXY that I was predicting - this will push risk assets higher tomorrow. Bearish retest of HTF POC will be the cue to add aggresively to short positions as the coming breakdown will mean systemic deleveraging is beginning, given wave 3 of 3 starts which is the meat of the move down.

QQQ Daily update
Below $617.52 my proposed minute ii this is my primary count expecting ongoing weakness in mega cap tech. I am short both SQQQ and NQ futures and will look for active put opportunities during this short week.

For newbies - if you click on portfolio - you can see current ideas I have on. Screenshot attached.

Initiated Muthoot Condor - Vols are still decent post breakdown from 4000+ to current 3500 levels after earnings. Earnings were actually good but it's all the positioning. I expect stock to take support around 3420 if it goes for gap fill and consolidate.

Shorting SBET - these kind of speculative plays with get destroyed over the coming weeks!

Daily NDQ/IWM bull div at support is telling us today is likely the bottom for risk

Remember, they were buying defensive names in IWM which caused the outperformance vs NQ - so when NQ sets up to outperform, it suggests we are returning to a risk on enironment.

Hopefully get the final flush into the close so i can place some long trades

$QQQD - Looks like the Short ETF is breaking out. This is an inverse ETF that goes up when the Mag 7 stocks go down. To me this looks like a clear breakout which represents a clear breakdown of the Mag 7 stocks.
