Look at Moderna. The stock closed up 177% yesterday, a record day, after its cancer vaccine with Merck succeeded in a large trial. Pull up a five-minute chart and anchor to the candle where it took off yesterday morning.

That line is the average price everyone has paid since the move began, weighted by volume. Moderna has come back and touched it several times since, and it bounced every time. Each of those was a clean short-term trade.

One line defines right and wrong. If price holds, you get the move. If it breaks, your stop sits right there and it's cheap, because a name that loses that line usually rolls straight over. You're not guessing where to put your risk.

The line carries weight because volume built it. Price only gets pushed under a volume-weighted average by size, and not the kind retail can generate. That's institutions leaving, and you find out the moment it ha

Cash levels reported by the BofA fund manager survey are at record lows. On the face of it this indicates investors are highly bullish (no cash), but I'm not sure I see that much bullishness in the market. Still seems like so much skepticism about everything.

Crypto updates

ETH - One of the longest and tightest channel spreads we've seen in a while. It doesn't look bad but it's done nothing for months. At least it should make a decision at some point.

BTC - It actually looks better than ETH here and it does look to actually be progressing higher without having swept those lows. Not a bad setup if it can break the diagonal and show some follow through.

Total Marketcap - Similar to ETH where it's just flat but it's flat post a breakout and support being held so have to lean slightly more bullish than neutral but it's going to need a catalyst or something like the clarity act to really get price action moving.

Bitcoin Possible Head Fake Trade Setup Update

Happy Monday, all

This trade setup has been a real pain in the ass, just due to how long this consolidation has taken

However, the lack of a close below the lower BB, and a reversal at that level hints at this head fake being back on

If you see price get above the basis and hold, then the probably of the upside move increases dramatically

the final signal is the close above the upper BB on high volume or with indicator confirmation

I will continue to walk us all through this. If this trade setup works out, this could be one of the best trade setups I've given here on Slice

Just remember, the move is going to be very volatile either direction, possibly both directions. I also don't think the bottom is in, but we must prepare for that scenario to exist

The next steps here are wait. If you are hedged short from the call we made, move your stop in profit or breakeven
