Will MOVE Index Move on FED Day?
The MOVE Index (bond market’s “VIX”) measures expected volatility in U.S. Treasuries — when the MOVE rises sharply, bond prices usually fall (yields rise) as uncertainty and selling pressure increase; conversely, a declining or low MOVE is generally bullish for bonds, signaling calmer markets and supporting higher bond prices.
MOVE could start to move within a week or two, based on the 3 dominant cycles.
