TechM - Fall of about 6-7% in 3 trading sessions post that H1B news. Approaching the lower end of the range and near the support area of 1400-1430. Initiated some positive delta vol short trade covering about 1SD move on both sides (less so on the downside).
If we look at the vols, 10D HV has picked up because of the realized vol in last 3 sessions. However, IV still hovers above both 10D/30D HV. Straddle is pricing in 6.5% which is nothing great but that's how vols have been off late given the low vol regime.
With earnings that usually come in 3rd week of Oct, could turn out to be a good trade for next couple of weeks if the counter takes support in this range.
